Sunday's Crock Pot Cooking
Today I am making Beef N Brew Pot Roast.
Please feel free to join me every Sunday for crock pot cooking. If we get enough people maybe I will do a link up too. It's fun and such an easy way to ensure you and your family eat at least one home cooked meal together. I like to do it on Sunday's because I feel it gives us a great start to the new week ahead of us. Grab my button and join in the fun every Sunday {and hey maybe you make it on Saturday but want to show us and join in on Sunday....that's totally cool}.
Beef N Brew Pot Roast
1 large Onion
Carrots
Red Potatoes
Celery
{ all of these are just to how much or little you want in there}
2 garlic Cloves
1 Teaspoon thyme
2 Bay Leaves
1 Package Italian Dressing
1 Packing Garlic Dressing
14 oz of Beef Broth
1 Can/Bottle of Beer
3 lb Pot Roast {or smaller if your crock pot can't hold that much}
Cut up all your veggies and add to bottom of crock pot. Add the bay leaves, garlic, thyme, and the 2 seasoning packets.
Pour in your beef broth. Place pot roast on top of all that and then pour on your beer. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours {or until meat is tender}.
My house already smells so good and I can't wait for dinner tonight!
I will post an after picture as soon as we eat.
**oops....we ate it so fast and it was so yummy that I forgot to get a picture**
