Sunday's Crock Pot Cooking
Today we were having a bunch of people over and I wanted to have something easy and warm for my friends/family to be able to eat.
I choose this amazing recipe.
Philly Shredded Beef Sandwiches
3 to 4 lbs beef chuck pot roast
2 large onions
2 cloves garlic
14 ounce can beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Trim fat from the roast. Place in cooker with onion and garlic. In a bowl combine every thing else and stir, pour over beef, onions and garlic. Cook on high for 5 hours.
After cooking pull out beef and shred with fork. Keep about 1/4 of the juices and pour out the rest. Place beef back in crock pot and mix in 1/4 jar of pepperocini peppers {I just eye it up}, a dash of oregano, paprika, and black pepper.
Let cook on low for 1-2 hours.
Serve with Monterey Jack Cheese on a Sourdough roll. {I eat mine with mayo and ketchup on it.}
These are such great sandwiches. I like to serve them with either some sides or chips and dip.

That looks a lot like mine! I add those peppers too and they really add a nice flavor to it! YUM!
