It's real and I love it!
We got our "real" tree Friday night. It has been years since we had a real tree and this year we did, it we got a real tree, and we are all so in love with it. Saturday night we had some friends over for dinner and the girls were going to decorate the tree but I guess the guys were in the holiday spirit too because next thing I know the Christmas music was playing and there was 8 people all decorating the tree. It was so awesome which made it feel so special and so much more like Christmas.
The tree turned out better than ever! Our family has been sitting in the front room by the fireplace just watching the tree and listening to Christmas music with our hot chocolate.
We got the whole house all decorated in side and out. I even got a couple presents wrapped and under the tree. Next up is my annual cooking baking party. Wow the holidays are really here and man is it going too fast I just need to sit down for a bit and take it all in.
BEAUTIFUL tree.... We used to get an artificial tree because it was "easier"...but there is nothing like the smell, feel and look of a real tree!!
