It's over....
It's all over. The hustle and bustle, the anticipation, the excitement. Over!
I am a little depressed about it too. It all goes so fast, too fast really!
All the planning and the wrapping and the decorated and it's over just like that. The kids had their gifts tore open within minutes and then grabbed all their loot and scurried away to their rooms to play and it was over.
Every year I vow it will be different but it never is and it's over so fast which leaves me feeling a little blue.
Don't get me wrong we were truly blessed and the kids got way more then any kid should, but I can't help but feel I wish it had went a little slower and I could have enjoyed it a little more!

I always feel the same way, it just goes by sooo fast!! I LOVE that stocking in the background...too cute!
And that after picture isn't even everything! It was nuts!!!

I feel the same way too. I'm really bummed after New Years more than anything.
That's when I take down the tree.
We tried to extend it a bit by sledding and other activites. Plus our local radio station played Christmas music until midnight last night...that helped me!
And it feels as you get older it goes faster doesn't it? Remember when you were a kid it seemed to take forever for Christmas to get here? Now I feel like I am trying to stop time by digging my heals in but it comes and goes fast anyway!
