Wine Wednesday

This week we wanted to feature a wine we got from our wine club that really took us by surprise.


It's called Lucky Star. It's a 2007 Zinfandel.




Now usually when I think of a Zinfandel I think of a pinkish type sweet wine but this one is very red and the taste was very good. We were both pleasantly surprised by this new find.

This wine went really well with our meat and cheese tray. Most night when we have a glass of wine we will have a light dinner of salad or just meat and cheese.

Like I said before we did get this wine from one of our favorite wine clubs 4 Seasons Wine Club. We like this club because we get 4 shipments a year with 12 bottle per shipment depending on the season it is.
