wine
Because of Halloween this week I decided to try a Vampire Wine. Well I tried two of them just to give you all a fair review {not because I like wine or anything and one bottle was not enough}
First we tried the Pinot Noir from Vampire Vineyards located in California.
"But first on earth as vampire sent, Thy corpse shall from tomb be rent: Then ghastly haunt thy native place, And suck the blood of all the race; There from thy daughter, sister, wife, At midnight drain the steam of life; Yet loathe the banquet which perforce must feed thy livid living corpse. Thy victims are they yet expire shall know the demon for their sire, As cursing thee, thou cursing them, thy flowers are withered on the stem"
It was good not a great wine but good. I know we will be serving it at our Halloween party just because of the name. And did you see the cool cork? I love corks and collect them so I can't wait to have a bunch of these babies.
Next we tried the Vampire Chardonnay.
I liked this one a lot more and could really see myself going silly buying this for myself just because of the whole name and red cork thing.
Both wines we picked up the other night at our new little favorite wine spot, Wine Styles, and we even went back and bough a bunch more for the party an to hand out to our guests.

oh how fitting! this looks yummy! I'll have to look out for this one :)
I had some wine last night...thanks for the weekly reviews. I am back on my wine kick.
I'll have to see where that Vampire Vineyard is; might be close for a visit some time
that is a cool looking cork! thanks for the review; maybe we'll look for some Vampire wine to drink on Halloween (any excuse to have wine, LOL)
betty
Lol! I kept my corks from Vampire Vineyards too! I found to have the same opinion of them both. Both drinkable - neither outstanding - but won't ban them from the wine rack either. :)
Your pumpkin's a little droopy...
TOO COOL!
AWESOME, I can't believe there is actually a wine like that! I think I'll have to go and try to find this here. Thanks!
This one sounds yummy. I love the cork. I collect them. I will have to buy this one!!! Check out my new pics!!! TTYL!
