When I saw the title of this months The Great Experiment I was excited because I just had my most embarrassing moment ever the other night. But then I was a little gun shy as to share it or not but hey all I can say is that if this has never happen to you then you have never truly been embarrassed!
The other night after a couple of glasses of wine and some foreplay on the couch we decided to move into our bedroom. Well of course things got a little, ok a lot, hot and heavy and as we were shredding clothes and I asked D’man if he had locked the bedroom door he said he had so all was well. First let me say it was late and I had checked on the kids and they were all fast asleep but we still always lock the door. So as I am sure you are already imagining we were all into it shall we say pretty good when I happen to look over toward the door and there stood middle son, who is soon to be 7, with a very dumb founded look on his face! How long he was standing there is anybody’s guess. We of course threw blankets and pillows and what ever else we could find on the bed on top of us. Middle son tells us that he heard a loud noise. So I very calmly {laughing like hell} slip on some clothes and walk him back upstairs to bed. So I am tucking him in and he comes right out and says “mom please don’t let me ever see d’man naked on top of you again and maybe you should wear clothes to bed like me.”
I about died! Really! We laughed and laughed for hours and needless to say I am sure that D’man will NEVER EVER forget to lock the bedroom door again….if I ever let him naked on top of me again!

Great story. Why is it always mom that has to settle the kids back in bed after such an embarrassing moment? Happened once at my house and husband was so embarrassed he refused to help her back to bed. I had to do it.

This is my fear, see our bedrooms are right beside the kids rooms so all it takes is a few steps out of there rooms to be at ours. I have started making sure the door is always closed but I really should start locking it!

Take comfort in this: My best friend Barbie's kids have both walked in on her and Ken at some point. There was even one night, they were just finishing up when Ken moved only to find one of the kids SLEEPING in their bed - she had snuck in, in the middle because she wasn't there when they started!
