Flying sucks ass....
I am sitting here typing out this post in the most god awful uncomfortable airtran seat. Five flippin' hours on a plane SUCKS ASS. I finally broke down and paid the $12.95 to have in flight wi-fi because I am so restless and can not get comfortable AT ALL! Since when does the airline find it necessary to not supply you with a pillow or a blanket? Is that really to much to ask? Well I guess it is from the same said air line that charges you $15 per bag to check....Really!
Upon arriving at the baggage check in we learned that you may take a carry on for FREE but you have to pay per bag to be checked. Call me crazy but with the price you pay for a plane ticket nowadays you should at least be able to bring along some stinkin' clothes. Are all airlines like this? Before we even left on our flight we were out over $70 in parking fees and baggage check! On top of that I am STARVING because seems that they are why to cheap to feed us for christ sake.
And to think I thought this might be fun.......
Yes, air travel can suck.. Especially on the carrier you are currently using.. However, you'll be there and you'll have a great time!!! :):):)
I'm not fond of flying so I haven't flown in years, but it is amazing how much they nickle and dime you to death these days with it; it does seem reasonable to allow luggage without a service fee; I did hear on the news the other morning some airlines are charging more if you want an aisle seat. Any way to make money I guess

Welcome to flying! I've only started recently, and just go with the flow. It's what makes actually landing at your destination so anticipated!
But I've never been offered an in-flight wifi before... Who did you fly with?

Southwest DOES NOT charge for bags. Keep that in mind next time you have to fly. And they give you a nice little snack.
That's crazy..... and I think Airtran also charges to "pick" your seat when reserving your ticket.... it's BS!!

You don't fly much, huh? To make it even more fun, every airline has a different policy, which blows for frequent travelers like me. I've heard of some airlines are considering charging for seat preference, too.
Oh, and try being 6'2" in economy class...
Yes, flying has changed alot lately, and almost all airlines charge for bags, and for snacks which I agree is ridiculous. At least you'll get there faster than driving though, and you can still have a great time!
