The D'man is Leaving on a Jet Plane....
That’s right he will be leaving for 6 days on Sunday and I hate it, just hate it. This is something he really wants to do and loves, but I have already been a crying fool. So I will probably be blogging and crying all next week and will need lots of support to get me through it.
He is going way to make music, you see he once toured with a band {before I met him} and a good band, and well now they want him to come to Nashville to record some songs with them. He loves this kind of thing and I am glad he does but I hate that he will be leaving us. It is just bad timing all around which makes it even harder. I was going to go along but the kids start school that week and I need to be home for them.
(this is him in the white shirt playing in concert with them)
So away he will go making music while I am taking care of three kids and a house all alone (I am so feeling sorry for myself, I know). Some people might love for their spouse to go away but not ME, I hate it.
On a side note, he is being really nice and letting me get my way about everything, I may or may not be getting a bunch of new clothes/books/and stuff while he is away, just to make me feel better – because this is how I roll - I'll let you know.

I hate it, too, when mine goes out of town. Everything just seems so much harder.
Oh, pooh!!! :( One of my best friends is married to a "band member" and are weekends get lonely.
Yes, I agree with you, it just stinks with they have to go away....so we are here to listen to every cry, complaint, or yelling about him being gone!
you are so funny - I LOVE when my hubbie leaves town!!!!!! my house stays clean, I don't have to cook COOK, I get some sleep (he snores)!!!
BTW - come see me, I have something for you
I say milk his guilt for all it's worth girl ;)
Nah, but I'd be sad too. Not especially if it was my husband, but your's seems like the kindof guy a girl would miss.
Blog away, I'll try to cheer you up with my usual craziness.
Well good luck to him! And to you.
I always go shopping when my man's away, he knows it's just the trade off.
I am in your same shoes a few times a year.. it is so hard, and we realize we take some of the little things for granted!
We will be here for you!
new clothes and a rock star for a husband? it's tough to deal with the time apart but so cool that he gets to chase his dream. just be sure to milk it for everything you can get ;)
